Thank you for visiting my site about Leonardo Da Vinci. He was born in in 1452 and died in 1519. Throughout his life Da Vinci was an anatomist, architect, sculptor, engineer, inventor, mathematician, painter, and musician. Though he excelled in all of these areas, he was most widely known for his inventions and paintings. This site contains many of Da Vinci's work in these two areas.
